Production Manager - Manufacturing

Trafford Park, Eccles, Manchester

Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm

Up to £55,000 DOE + Bonus, healthcare, 25 + stat holidays

A growing and well-invested manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to lead a multi-discipline team.

The Role / Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day production across a fast moving, automated manufacturing operation.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, output and efficiency
• Manage labour planning, productivity and operational KPIs
• Improve OEE and implement corrective actions where needed
• Develop and lead supervisors and shopfloor teams
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental standards
• Reduce waste, downtime and rework through problem-solving
• Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain
• Support Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in a Production Manager / Manufacturing leadership role
• Background in plastic, processing or industrial manufacturing environments (ideal)
• Strong understanding of production KPIs and performance management
• Hands-on leadership style with strong communication skills
• NEBOSH desirable (IOSH or equivalent considered)
• Experience in continuous improvement / Lean manufacturing
