Job Title: Project Manager (Contract) Outside iR35

Contract Length: 6-12 Months

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a portfolio of manufacturing projects within a heavy to medium industrial environment. This is a contract role requiring someone who can manage projects end-to-end, with a mix of initiatives currently at design phase and others already in progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple projects from concept through to completion
• Take ownership of projects at varying stages (design, execution, delivery)
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, and external contractors
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Manage risk, change control, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive stakeholder engagement and provide regular progress updates
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and site standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in heavy to medium industrial settings (e.g., FMCG, process, or engineering-led environments)
• Strong track record of delivering end-to-end projects
• Ability to pick up and drive projects already in-flight
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities

Desirable:

• Engineering background or qualification
• Experience managing CAPEX projects
• Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement methodologies
