KPI Education is seeking enthusiastic psychology graduates to join a dynamic secondary school in London as a Teaching Assistant within the SEN department.
With an increasing demand for qualified professionals in the SEN sector, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to the academic and personal development of students with a variety of additional learning needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the SEN team, providing tailored support to individuals and small groups of students. Your responsibilities will include assisting in lesson preparation, delivering engaging activities, and supporting students in building their social, emotional, and academic skills. Additionally, you may be involved in enrichment activities, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and interventions aimed at improving student confidence and engagement.
This role is ideal for graduates looking to explore careers in educational psychology, speech & language therapy, or SEN teaching. It offers unique exposure to the strategies schools use to support diverse learners and provides practical experience in areas such as assessment, intervention planning, and student development. You’ll also receive ongoing mentorship from experienced educators and SEN experts.
