Duties:

Purchasing Administrator - Up to £30,000 DOE
Location: Leigh, WN7
Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday (7:30-15:30 or 8:00-16:00)
Contract: Full-time, permanent

We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support our client based in the Leigh area. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Entering relevant information into internal systems to allow order handling to proceed
  • Raising purchase orders for specific material loads
  • Creating transport orders for material movements
  • Booking receipts of incoming material loads
  • Resolving invoice/order data issues – liaising with central finance functions and external suppliers
  • Supporting overall stock management in line with group-level targets
  • Managing site expense purchases, collaborating with department leads to ensure appropriate stock levels

Requirements:

  • Experience in purchasing, materials administration, or logistics
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
