Duties:
Purchasing Administrator - Up to £30,000 DOE
Location: Leigh, WN7
Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday (7:30-15:30 or 8:00-16:00)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Administrator to support our client based in the Leigh area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering relevant information into internal systems to allow order handling to proceed
- Raising purchase orders for specific material loads
- Creating transport orders for material movements
- Booking receipts of incoming material loads
- Resolving invoice/order data issues – liaising with central finance functions and external suppliers
- Supporting overall stock management in line with group-level targets
- Managing site expense purchases, collaborating with department leads to ensure appropriate stock levels
Requirements:
- Experience in purchasing, materials administration, or logistics
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
