A highly successful and inclusive secondary school in the IG4 area is seeking an exceptional qualified SENCo to join its ambitious and forward-thinking Inclusion Team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced SEND professional to play a key leadership role within a thriving school community that genuinely places inclusion, aspiration and student wellbeing at the centre of its vision. Working alongside an established team of experienced SENCos, you will help shape and drive outstanding SEND provision across the campus, ensuring every student receives the support, challenge and opportunities they deserve.

The successful candidate will work closely with SEN Support students, students with EHCPs and those within the school’s Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP), ensuring high-quality provision both within mainstream education and specialist support settings.
This role would suit a skilled and compassionate leader who believes deeply in inclusive education and has the drive to make a lasting impact on students, families and wider school practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support outstanding SEND provision across the school
- Promote and develop inclusive teaching and learning practices throughout the campus
- Work strategically with senior leaders, staff, parents and external agencies to improve outcomes for vulnerable students
- Develop and coordinate targeted intervention programmes for students at risk of exclusion
- Lead the development of differentiated and personalised learning approaches
- Monitor, assess and evaluate SEND provision and student progress through effective use of data
- Support staff through guidance, coaching and the sharing of outstanding inclusive practice
- Ensure statutory responsibilities regarding EHCPs and SEND provision are consistently met to a high standard
- Support smooth transition processes for students joining or moving through the school
- Contribute to wider Trust-wide SEND strategy and collaborative practice
