Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant: Candidate Specification

We are looking for a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant who:

-          Hold a 2:1 or higher degree from a top 30 UK university and has a strong academic background through GCSE’s and A-Levels

-          Are enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to pursuing a career in education

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – as a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teachers’ students, and parents

-          Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting (desirable)

 

Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant: Job Role

As a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

-          Providing one-on-one and small group support to students, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills

-          Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons

-          Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
