Coventry | £50,000 | Permanent | Regional Residential Work
We are recruiting experienced CISRS Scaffolders to join a growing business operating within the solar and renewable energy sector.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced scaffolder looking for a permanent position with a stable, growing business, working on residential solar projects across the region.
The Role
You will be responsible for erecting, adapting and dismantling scaffolding at domestic properties to provide safe access for solar installation teams.
Your day-to-day duties will include:

Erecting, adapting and dismantling domestic scaffolding.

Installing safe access platforms and edge protection.
-
Working closely with solar installation teams on site.
-
Carrying out safety checks and ensuring scaffolds are safe and compliant.
-
Loading and unloading equipment and keeping vehicles organised.

Working safely and efficiently to meet installation schedules.
-
Maintaining a professional approach when working at customers' homes.
-
Supporting colleagues to ensure jobs are completed safely and to a high standard.
What We're Looking For
-
CISRS Scaffolder - Blue Card essential.
-
Previous scaffolding experience, ideally within residential work.

Good understanding of working at height and safe working practices.

Full UK Driving Licence.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual work.

Reliable, professional and safety-focused.
-
Good communication skills and a strong team ethic.

Scaffolder's Mate/Labourer
Join AO's New Solar Installation Team
We're looking for experienced Scaffolder's Mates to support our Scaffolders as we launch our residential solar operation.
You'll be part of a two-man crew delivering domestic scaffolding solutions that allow our Solar Installers to work safely on customer homes.
You'll need previous scaffolding experience, a strong work ethic and the ability to work safely as part of a team.
We'll provide all tools, equipment and ongoing support to help you develop your career.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assisting with the erection, alteration and dismantling of domestic scaffolding.
- Passing materials and supporting scaffold builds safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading scaffold equipment.
- Maintaining vehicles, equipment and storage areas.
- Carrying out manual handling duties.
- Supporting site set up and safety checks.
- Working at occupied residential properties and representing AO professionally.
- Following instructions from Scaffolders, Supervisors and Managers.
- Ensuring work areas are left safe, tidy and secure.
What You'll Need
Essential
- Previous Scaffolder's Mate experience.
- Understanding of scaffold components and safe working practices.
- Comfortable working at height.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety focused.
Desirable
- CISRS Labourer Card.
- Experience on domestic scaffolding projects.
- Experience supporting roofing, solar or construction teams.
