What’s the role?

As a science teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, inspirational science lessons up to and including GCSE level
  • Plan and assess student work to ensure progress and attainment across varying ability levels
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, instilling a love of science in the classroom
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies
  • Engage in opportunities for professional development and contribute to the provision of extra-curricular activities

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for a committed, passionate Science Teacher / ECT, who:

  • Holds a PGCE in science
  • Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Has a strong commitment to student progress and success, and is passionate about delivering engaging STEM content
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Is eager to add to a supportive school community and develop further professionally
