We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Birmingham from September 2026. Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners who are passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality Science lessons.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire students through practical and theoretical learning opportunities.
  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons that support excellent student progress.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or is currently completing a teacher training programme.
  • Has a 2:1 or higher degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.
  • Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
  • Is committed to raising standards and achieving the best outcomes for all learners.
