About You
We are looking for a dedicated Science Teacher who is passionate about delivering engaging and effective lessons. You will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Science at secondary level
• Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
• Be confident delivering engaging and challenging lessons
• Be adaptable and creative in your teaching approach
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Be committed to inclusive education and supporting every learner
• Be passionate about raising attainment and student progress
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students to achieve success across the Science curriculum.
You will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for Key Stage 5), adapting your teaching to meet a range of abilities.
This role focuses on fostering a love of learning, building subject knowledge, and supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging Science lessons
• Creating a positive and focused learning environment
• Assessing student progress and implementing targeted support
• Differentiating lessons to meet a range of learning needs
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental planning
• Supporting students in achieving strong academic outcomes
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and wider school staff
