We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher (or Early Career Teacher - ECT) to join our dynamic and welcoming secondary school in the West Midlands, starting in the upcoming academic year.
What's the role?
You will:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Foster a love of learning and scientific curiosity in all students
- Plan and assess effectively to support student progress
- Contribute to a collaborative and supportive department
What are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has a 2:1 degree or higher in a scientific subject (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
- Has strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
- Is passionate about teaching and learning
- Is committed to student achievement and wellbeing
- ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply - a structured induction and mentoring programme is provided
