Graduates with degrees in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, supported by strong A-Level Science qualifications, are encouraged to apply. Secondary Science Teacher – The Role

  • Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Deliver engaging and practical lessons that foster curiosity and a love of learning
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve their academic potential
  • Monitor progress and provide effective feedback
  • Contribute to the wider life of the Science department and school community

Secondary Science Teacher – Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards QTS
  • OR a degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related scientific discipline
  • Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Science education
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A commitment to raising attainment and supporting young people
