  • Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Full-time, long-term role starting September 2024 – running for the rest of the academic year initially
  • Opportunity for role to become permanent
  • Earn up to £520 per week as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Monday-Friday, 32 hours per week. Term-time only
  • Fantastic inclusive school with easy access transport links, located in Birmingham
  • Work 1-to-1 and in small group settings supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Perfect experience for aspiring teachers, education psychologists or speech and language therapists
  • Graduates with an Education, Psychology or core subject related degree welcome to apply
  • Previous SEN experience preferred but not essential
  • Interviews and trial days available

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to promote personalisation of learning and support given to each student. The school have designated learning areas and a devoted team that aim to provide the best possible learning experiences for students with SEN.. The higly professional and experienced team of Teaching Assistants work closely with the SENCO to utilise their skills and knowledge in the best way possible.

This school is located in Birmingham – it is commutable via public transport. An exciting and rewarding place to work and has made exceptional progress. Although previous SEN experience is preferred, the school also offers bespoke training and is looking for the right type of character to join them and become part of the team– someone passionate and willing to get stuck in.

The school are looking to start the right candidate in September 2024. You will create positive relationships with the students and become a vital part of their learning journey. The role will run for the full academic year initially with a view to becoming permanent.
