We are working with a well-established primary special school in the northern part of Birmingham that is seeking a compassionate and motivated SEN Teacher to join their team in September 2025. The school provides a supportive, inclusive setting for pupils aged 4–11 with a variety of special educational needs, offering a small class structure and high staff-to-pupil ratios to ensure personalised support for every child.
SEN Teacher - About the Role
- Full-time, permanent SEN Teacher position

- Suitable for experienced teachers and ECTs

SEN Teacher - Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEN needs
- Collaborate with the SENCo, TAs, and external specialists to deliver tailored support
- Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment
- Track pupil progress and adjust strategies to support ongoing development
- Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Promote students’ academic, emotional, and social growth
SEN Teacher - What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an ECT qualifying in summer 2025
- Experience working with SEN pupils, either in teaching or support roles
- A degree in Education, Psychology, SEN, or a related field
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, empathetic, and flexible teaching approach
- A strong belief in inclusive education and the potential of every child
