SEN Teacher – About the Role
- Start Date: September 2025
- Type: Full-time, permanent SEN Teacher role
- Key Stages: EYFS, KS1, and KS2 – placements matched to your strengths and experience
- Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS), depending on experience
- Location: Birmingham – accessible by public transport

SEN Teacher - What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEND
- Use a range of strategies to support pupils with learning difficulties, autism, speech and language needs, and more
- Create a nurturing, structured, and positive classroom environment
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external specialists
- Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community
SEN Teacher - What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) by September 2025
- A genuine interest in and commitment to inclusive education
- Experience with or a strong understanding of SEND teaching approaches
- Adaptable, empathetic, and resilient teaching style
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- ECTs and experienced teachers welcome to apply
