KPi Education is seeking dedicated and experienced SEN Teachers to join a network of exceptional specialist provisions and inclusive mainstream schools across East Kent. We are recruiting for opportunities in Ashford, Canterbury, Thanet, and Folkestone, supporting children and young people with a range of additional learning needs.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to helping pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning needs achieve their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual pupil needs
  • Support learners working towards EHCP outcomes and personalised learning targets
  • Create a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work closely with SENCOs, Teaching Assistants, HLTAs, therapists, and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet a diverse range of learning needs
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and independence

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS, QTLS, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Has experience teaching pupils with SEND in either specialist or mainstream settings
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Possesses strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Is committed to inclusive education and improving life chances for young people
  • Has a proactive and resilient approach to teaching and learning
