Are you seeking a leadership role where your impact will be felt across an entire school community?
A high-performing and rapidly growing secondary school in North West London is seeking an exceptional SENCO / Inclusion Leader to join their leadership team.
This is a full-time, permanent position, starting either Easter or September, offering an outstanding opportunity to shape and lead a dynamic SEND provision within a forward-thinking school environment.
This is not just another SENCO role — this is a chance to take ownership of a developing and well-supported SEND department, driving whole-school inclusion and ensuring every student has access to an ambitious and equitable education.
The school has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, student engagement, and exceptional attendance, consistently placing it among the top-performing schools nationally. With continued growth in student numbers and a commitment to inclusive practice, they are now looking for a strategic and passionate leader to elevate their SEND provision even further.
As SENCO and Leader of Inclusion, you will:
- Lead and manage the school’s SEND strategy, ensuring high-quality provision for all students with additional needs
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing effective interventions and support strategies
- Work closely with teaching staff to embed inclusive classroom practices across all departments
- Liaise with parents, external agencies, and professionals to ensure a joined-up approach to student support
- Drive staff training and development in SEND and inclusion
- Play a key role within the wider leadership team, contributing to whole-school improvement
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS and the National SENCO Qualification (or be working towards it)
- Have a proven track record of supporting students with SEND in a secondary setting
- Demonstrate strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
- Be deeply committed to inclusion and raising outcomes for all learners
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious school environment
In return, the school offers:
- A leadership salary on the Inner London pay scale (MPR/UPR + SEN allowance)
- A supportive and ambitious senior leadership team
- Excellent transport links, with multiple stations just a short walk away
- A modern, well-resourced teaching environment
- The opportunity to shape and grow a key area of the school
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated SEN professional looking to take the next step in their career within a high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in North West London.
