Are you an experienced production leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys driving team performance on the shop floor?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a modern manufacturing business where you'll take ownership of daily production activity, lead and develop teams, and play a key role in driving efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the operation.

The Role:

  • Create and execute the daily production schedule.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and resources to ensure smooth and efficient production.
  • Lead, motivate, and direct production teams on shift.
  • Monitor team capability and support training, development, and performance management.
  • Ensure staffing levels and skills are aligned to operational requirements.
  • Liaise with maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and reliability.
  • Communicate effectively across departments to ensure smooth production flow.
  • Monitor and report on KPI performance, investigating deviations and supporting root cause analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost.
  • Support audit activity and ensure compliance with standard procedures.

 

What we're looking for:

  • Strong leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to motivate, manage, and develop teams.
  • Hands-on experience in production operations and decision-making.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities.
  • Experience with KPI tracking, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • IT literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Desirable:

  • Experience in clean room or precision manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of electromechanical assembly, testing, or high-spec manufacturing processes.
