Are you a Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact within a specialist SEN setting?
Do you want to work as part of a collaborative multi-disciplinary team supporting children and young people with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, and complex learning needs?
A specialist SEN school in Ealing is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist to join its established therapy team. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced therapist or someone looking to further develop their career within a supportive and well-resourced environment.
You will play a key role in helping pupils develop communication skills, improve access to learning and achieve greater independence, working closely with education staff, families and other therapists to deliver high-quality, child-centred interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan and deliver Speech and Language Therapy interventions for pupils with a range of communication needs
- Manage a caseload of children and young people with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs and associated learning difficulties
- Contribute to EHCP assessments, annual reviews and outcome setting
- Deliver both direct and indirect therapy interventions, including individual and group sessions
- Work collaboratively with teachers, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and wider professionals
- Provide practical communication strategies and training to education staff
- Support the development of communication-friendly learning environments
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate clinical records and reports
- Build positive relationships with families and external agencies to ensure consistent support

We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised Speech and Language Therapy qualification
- Is HCPC registered and a member of RCSLT (or eligible)
- Has experience working with children and young people with SEND
- Has knowledge of Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Needs and neurodiversity-affirming practice
- Enjoys working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Has strong communication, organisational and report-writing skills
- Is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people with additional needs
