The Role

As a STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions in Science, Maths, Computing & Engineering.
  • Support exam preparation and inspire pupils aiming for top grades.
  • Work side-by-side with expert subject specialists and outstanding teachers.
  • Develop classroom confidence, leadership skills, and teaching techniques – all while earning a competitive salary.
  • Gain an inside track into teacher training routes for 2026.

About You

  • A recent STEM graduate (2:1 or above) – Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Computer Science or related.
  • A clear communicator who can break down complex concepts.
  • Ambitious, proactive, and passionate about shaping young minds.
  • Ideally some experience tutoring, mentoring, or engaging with young people (not essential).

Salary & Benefits

  • £28,000 – £30,000 per annum (weekly pay)
  • Full-time, term-time only, September 2025 – July 2026
  • Ongoing CPD + clear routes into teacher training
