The Role

As a STEM Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across Science, Maths and Computing
  • Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery, preparation and classroom resources
  • Help raise attainment and improve engagement in STEM subjects
  • Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Encourage curiosity, problem-solving and independent learning

Who We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A 2:1 degree or above in a STEM subject (Science, Maths, Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred)
  • Strong GCSEs and A Level results (or equivalent academic background)
  • A genuine passion for education and inspiring young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive, positive and resilient approach to working in a school environment

Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
