Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time, long-term opportunity starting September 2026
  • Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only
  • Earn up to £570 per week as a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant
  • Based at a successful Liverpool secondary school with a strong STEM ethos
  • Graduates holding a 2:1 or above in Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing or a related subject encouraged to apply
  • Work with pupils across KS3 & KS4, supporting a variety of STEM subjects
  • Deliver 1:1 and small-group support to strengthen knowledge, confidence, and attainment
  • Gain hands-on experience alongside experienced and inspirational teaching staff
  • Excellent preparation for Teacher Training applications for September 2027
  • Interviews taking place immediately

As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you’ll become an integral part of the school’s Maths, Science, and Computing teams. You’ll support pupils both within lessons and through targeted interventions, helping them overcome barriers to learning and develop a stronger understanding of challenging concepts.

You’ll benefit from working in a supportive school environment where graduate development is encouraged. With guidance, mentoring, and practical experience from experienced classroom professionals, you’ll have the opportunity to develop valuable skills that can support a future career in teaching, education, STEM outreach, or EdTech.
