Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant
- Full-time, long-term position starting October 2026
- Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only
- Earn up to £570 per week as a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant
- Join a successful Liverpool secondary school with a strong focus on STEM education
- Graduates with a 2:1 or above in Maths, Science, Engineering, Computing, or a related discipline encouraged to apply
- Support pupils across KS3 & KS4 across a range of STEM subjects
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to improve understanding, confidence, and academic progress
- Work alongside experienced, supportive, and inspirational teaching professionals
- Excellent opportunity to gain relevant experience ahead of Teacher Training applications for September 2027
- Interviews taking place immediately
As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you’ll play an important role within the school’s Maths, Science, and Computing departments. Working alongside teaching staff, you’ll support pupils during lessons and contribute to targeted intervention sessions designed to address gaps in knowledge, build confidence, and help students tackle more challenging areas of the curriculum.
You’ll join a welcoming and supportive school where graduates are encouraged to develop their skills and gain a deeper understanding of secondary education. Through practical classroom experience, guidance from experienced teachers, and ongoing support, you’ll develop a valuable skill set that can prepare you for a future in teaching, education, STEM outreach, or the wider education technology sector.
