Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:00pm

We are working with a welcoming and ambitious college in Huddersfield to recruit a Student Progress Mentor to support students aged 16+ with their education, confidence, and future progression.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys building relationships and helping young people overcome barriers. You'll work closely with students to keep them engaged, motivated, and on track to achieve their goals.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing one-to-one and small-group mentoring
  • Supporting students with their academic progress
  • Helping students overcome barriers to learning
  • Building confidence, motivation, and independence
  • Encouraging positive attendance and engagement
  • Helping students set realistic goals and work towards them
  • Working alongside teaching and pastoral teams
  • Monitoring progress and identifying where additional support is needed
  • Supporting students with their next steps, including further education, training, or employment

The Person We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young people and wants to make a difference.

You may have experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Mentor, Tutor, Youth Worker, Support Worker, or Graduate, or have transferable experience working with young people.

You'll be:
