Whether you are completing your PGCE, School Direct programme or teacher training route, we are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge, enthusiasm for Economics and the ability to inspire curiosity, critical thinking and academic ambition in young people.

You will join a large, successful and highly regarded Economics department, where the subject is exceptionally popular at GCSE and A Level, with many students progressing to study Economics, Finance, PPE, Business and related disciplines at leading universities.

The successful candidate will:

• Deliver engaging and ambitious Economics lessons at GCSE and A Level
• Inspire students to develop strong analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills
• Support students in achieving exceptional academic outcomes and progression pathways
• Contribute to curriculum enrichment, intervention and wider departmental activities
• Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues to develop outstanding teaching practice

We are looking for candidates who:

• Are completing, or have recently completed, teacher training in Economics, Business, Social Sciences or a related discipline
• Have a strong academic background and excellent subject knowledge in Economics
• Are passionate about helping young people achieve ambitious outcomes
• Have high expectations of themselves and their students
• Are reflective, enthusiastic and eager to develop professionally
