ROLE:                TERRITORY MANAGER – MEDICAL DEVICE / SURGICAL SALES

SALARY:           £28,000 – 32,000 PLUS £15000 BONUS & CAR ALLOWANCE

LOCATION:      WEST MIDLANDS

As a distribution company, our cliet pride themselves on the strong relationships they have built with world leading manufacturers and bringing some of the highest quality devices to market. Our success has enabled us to expand our distribution channels across UK, Ireland and the GCC, and continually advance and expand their range with new innovations and technologies. They are now searching for a Territory Manager to be a part of their evergrowing business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO

 

  • To act as the face of the company
  • Responsible for sales activity within allocated territory (full midlands)
  • Regular field visits to review account development, meet with key stakeholders and determine next steps
  • Ensure sales plans are in place for each account and product, and are reviewed regularly to ensure all objectives are achieved
  • Provide regular sales forecasts for each product line as well as account updates, and reports in a timely basis
  • Investigate and fully understand the competition in territories whilst devising a plan to combat them
  • Work with the NSM to support sales activities
  • Attend events and exhibitions as necessary
  • Explore product opportunities at all times through use of initiative
  • To ensure reports from customers relating to product quality complaints or adverse events are immediately documented and reported to NSM
  • Regularly communicate and update the Sales Team with market intelligence, customer feedback etc.
  • Track and report on all territory plans at the monthly Sales meetings
  • To act in a professional manner and the companies best interest at all times in order to promote a positive image of the Company
  • Actively participate in the Company pro-active learning environment
  • Support overall business objectives
  • To deal with general administrative duties and any other duties which does not change the nature of this post

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • Full, UK driving licence

EXPERIENCE

  • Keen interest in the medical industry
  • Minimum 1 year’s relevant work experience
  • Experience managing conflicting demands
  • Experience working under pressure to tight deadlines

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (desirable)
  • Good communication, presentation skills
  • Able to make decisions to support business continuity
  •  Effective time management to prioritise conflicting demands
  • Customer orientated with good negotiation skills

  • To maintain a good working relationship with NSM and sales team
  • Considerable travel within the UK will be required
