KPi Education is currently recruiting ambitious Maths graduates for a highly sought-after Train to Teach Maths programme based in secondary schools across Sheffield.
With September start dates approaching and a limited number of places remaining, we are looking to secure candidates over the coming weeks. This is an outstanding opportunity for graduates looking to train to teach Maths through a school-centred route that combines practical classroom experience with expert mentoring and professional development from day one.
The Programme
Unlike traditional university-led routes, this salaried programme allows you to train to teach Maths whilst employed within a secondary school environment.
You will:
- Earn a salary of £26,716 per annum
- Receive high-quality teacher training throughout the academic year
- Benefit from structured mentoring from experienced teachers and school leaders
- Develop classroom practice through hands-on experience from the start
- Gain experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Have the opportunity to complete a fully funded PGCE alongside your training
- Work towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
This immersive approach allows trainee teachers to become part of the school community whilst developing the skills, confidence, and expertise needed to succeed in the classroom.
Who We're Looking For
Applications are welcomed from graduates who possess:
- A degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline
- Strong A-Level results in Mathematics
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above in English and Mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for education and young people
- The ability to motivate and inspire secondary-aged learners
Candidates with Mathematics-related degrees and exceptional A-Level Mathematics profiles will also be considered.
