Warehouse Operative 

Pay rate: Dynamic pay, each shift is 4 hours at £14.65 and 2 hours at £12.71

Hours: 30 hours per week

Location: Carlisle

Hours: 03:00 - 09:00 Monday to Friday

First Choice are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client, a long established delivery and storage company. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role.

Duties

• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents
• Handle materials with care, including heavy lifting and precise placement of goods in designated storage areas
• Support warehouse organisation by stacking, sorting, and storing products efficiently
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a safe working environment

Requirements

• Good physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing, walking, and repetitive tasks over extended periods
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving processes to ensure accurate processing of inbound and outbound goods
