Warehouse Operative / Picker

Location: WA9
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pay: £12.71 per hour

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Picker to join our busy team based in WA9. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.

What you'll be doing:

• Picking and assembling timber, wood mouldings, and stair parts using pick sheets or handheld scanners.

• Preparing customer orders ready for dispatch.

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.

• Meeting daily picking targets while maintaining accuracy.

• Following all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

What we're looking for:

• A good level of physical fitness, as this role involves regular heavy lifting.

• Ability to work efficiently in a target-driven environment.

• A positive attitude and strong attention to detail.

• Previous warehouse or picking experience is beneficial but not essential.

Please note:

This role is based within a timber manufacturing environment, so the warehouse can be dusty at times. Appropriate health and safety procedures and protective equipment are provided.
