Nights Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Stoke-on-Trent, ST3

Pay: £14.99 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – Nights

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

The Role:

We’re currently recruiting for a Nights Warehouse Team Leader to join a busy and growing operation in Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and move into a leadership position.

Working as part of the night shift team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of warehouse operations, while supporting, motivating and supervising a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and supervise a team of warehouse operatives
• Allocate tasks and manage workloads effectively throughout the shift
• Oversee stock control and maintain accurate inventory records
• Ensure picking, packing and dispatch operations are completed accurately and efficiently
• Monitor team performance, productivity and KPIs
• Maintain high standards of health and safety across the warehouse
• Train, support and develop new and existing team members
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
• Work closely with management and other departments to ensure smooth operations
• Deal with and resolve operational or team-related issues as they arise
• Ensure company procedures and warehouse standards are consistently followed

About You:

• Previous warehouse and/or team leadership experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A structured, process-driven approach to work
• Experience with stock control and warehouse management systems
• A good understanding of health and safety and safe working practices
• Experience using pallet trucks and barcode scanners
• The ability to lead, motivate and support a team
• A positive, reliable and team-focused attitude
• The flexibility and commitment to work nights on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
