About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, professional, and customer-focused Workplace Host to join our team. This unique hybrid role combines the responsibilities of a Security Receptionist and Workplace Ambassador, creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for employees, visitors, and clients.
As the first point of contact for the workplace, you will deliver exceptional front-of-house service while supporting site security, visitor management, workplace experience initiatives, and day-to-day operational activities.
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Visitor Experience
- Provide a warm, professional welcome to all visitors, employees, and contractors.
- Manage visitor sign-in processes and issue visitor passes.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and enquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming reception area.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings and support client visits.
Security & Access Control
- Monitor access control systems and ensure authorised entry to the building.
- Conduct security checks and report any incidents, risks, or concerns.
- Maintain accurate visitor and contractor records.
- Support emergency procedures, evacuations, and incident response when required.
- Liaise with security teams, facilities management, and building management.
Workplace Ambassador Duties
- Act as a visible and approachable presence throughout the workplace.
- Support workplace events, meetings, and employee engagement activities.
- Assist with workplace services, including meeting room setup and workspace readiness.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and excellent customer experience.
- Respond promptly to employee requests and workplace enquiries.

- Has previous experience in reception, security, hospitality, customer service, or workplace experience roles (preferred).
