About the role:

The Accounts Assistant will ensure accurate financial records and support the company's financial operations. This role involves various accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and reconciliations, demanding meticulous attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Main duties:
- Generate and distribute customer invoices
- Conduct proactive verbal Credit Control
- Issue accurate customer statements
- Maintain customer database on SAGE
- Monitor credit and insurance limits
- Prepare monthly accruals and prepayment journals
- Update Fixed Asset Registers
- Post SAGE journals
- Submit and reconcile quarterly VAT returns
- Review and analyse job costings
- Reconcile bank statements
- Provide data for cash forecasting
- Control and reconcile petty cash
- Maintain Direct Debit costs and schedules
- Allocate receipts and payments
- Process credit card and cash expenses
- Manage Supplier database on SAGE

About the role:
The Health, Safety, and Environment Officer will develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulations and foster a culture of safety within the organisation.
You will be reporting to the Head of Operations, the HSE Officer will collaborate with colleagues, department managers, and employees to uphold health, safety, and environmental standards across the organisation.
Main duties:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies in compliance with regulations and standards
- Manage a robust review mechanism to ensure strict adherence throughout the organisation
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Coordinate and conduct safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors
- Conduct Health and Safety inductions for new employees
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation drills and crisis management protocols
- Participate in audits to assess compliance with regulatory requirements and recommend corrective actions
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and industry associations on health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes and incorporate updates into organisational policies
About you:
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Van Driver
KPI Recruiting are looking for Van drivers to join our client based in Glasgow! Our client is a leading transport company offering flexible and reliable services to their local and national customers. They are looking for ongoing drivers to join their team of professional van drivers.
Your role will include driving a van to deliver parcel to businesses and depots across the city.
Multi Drop 16-23 drops per day, around 200 parcels
These positions are all year round with ample opportunity for overtime.
Drivers’ benefits include weekly pay, additional shifts within KPI driving contacts available, state of the art vehicles.
As a Van Driver you will be working 5 out of 7 days a week, with the start time of 09:30. Finish time will vary depending on the drops you have but you will be working between 8-10 hours per day.
The ideal candidate for a Van Driver will need the following:
- All up to date licence
- A good knowledge of the roads
As a Van Driver you will need to:
- Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
- Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
- Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
- Maintain all health and safety standards
- Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
- Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy
Rate of pay as a Van Driver:
- £11.44 per hour
