Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver
We are looking for a reliable, hard-working individual to join our tight-knit team. Working as a Warehouse / FLT Operative, you will be working across a variety of tasks throughout the day, making this the perfect fit if you enjoy a role with plenty of split duties.
This is a true 50/50 split role. Half of your time will be spent operating Forklift Trucks (FLT), and the other half will involve hands-on, physical warehouse work—including unloading containers (handballing) and keeping the warehouse moving smoothly. We operate in a fast-paced environment, so we need someone who can keep up with the momentum, stay sharp on safety, and is always willing to pitch in where needed.
Details about the role:
-
Pay: £13.40 per hour
-
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
-
Perk: Early finish every Friday!
What you’ll be doing day-to-day:
-
On the Forklift: Safely and efficiently operating FLTs to move stock, stack pallets, and load/unload incoming and outgoing vehicles.
-
Hands-on Work: Getting stuck into the physical side of things—manually unloading containers (handballing), picking, packing, and palletising orders.
-
Logistics Support: Handling goods-in and goods-out duties to ensure everything is documented and where it needs to be.
-
Teamwork: Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe, while supporting your teammates during busy periods.
What we’re looking for:
-
FLT Experience: You must hold a valid Forklift Truck licence and feel completely confident operating one in a busy environment.
-
A Hardworking Attitude: You don’t mind rolling up your sleeves. Handballing containers is physical work, so you need to be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling.
-
Pace & Accuracy: You can work quickly but carefully, keeping safety at the forefront of everything you do.
-
Reliability: You show up on time, take pride in your work, and bring a positive, team-player attitude every day.
