Duties:

About the Role

We are looking for a confident and versatile Administrator to support our Controls, Automation & Monitoring (CAM) Sales and Technical Team. This is an all‑round administrative role with a varied workload, including order processing, supplier communication, logistics queries, and occasional assistance with packing small items for despatch.

You will be working in a fast‑paced, demanding environment, so resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. A friendly but firm approach is required to ensure tasks are completed promptly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process sales orders using our CRM system (Gold Vision)
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers by phone and email
  • Check stock availability and manage logistics queries
  • Respond to non‑technical customer enquiries
  • Assist the team by ensuring tasks are completed on time
  • Occasionally leave the desk to help pack small items for despatch
  • Work confidently and independently in a very busy department

About You

  • Strong general administration background
  • Confident communicator with a “get things done” attitude
  • Fast, accurate keyboard and computer skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (desirable)
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Background in manufacturing, electrical, or engineering environments (advantageous)
  • Must be able to drive (no public transport available to the site)
