About the Role

We are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join our team in Alexandria. This is a hard role to fill, and we are looking for a highly capable individual who can operate, set, and program CNC turning machines and work confidently on their own initiative.

• Operate, set, and program CNC turning machines using Fanuc control
• Programming carried out at the machine (not offline/CAM-based)
• Work on Doosan CNC lathes
• Use live tooling, including C-axis and Y-axis capability
• Machine precision components to engineering drawings and tight tolerances
• Carry out full tool setting, offset setting, and programme prove-outs
• Perform first-off and in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience as a CNC Turner
• Strong experience with Fanuc-controlled machines (various Fanuc models in use)
• Proven ability to operate, set, and program on the machine
• Confident programming at the machine
• Experience using live tooling with C & Y axis
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
