Are you an experienced Account Executive with knowledge and experience working within commercial? My client are a leading insurance broker who provide a range of insurance solutions to businesses and individuals. Due to continued growth and success within the business they are looking for an experienced Account Executive to join the team looking after clients and growing Commercial business across a specific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business for existing clients and will develop a strong pipeline of new business in relation to various lines of Commercial Insurance, whilst ensuring full FCA compliance.

Key Duties:

• Attending client visits and making initial contact

• Negotiation and presentation to insurers in order to secure most appropriate cover for the client
• Prospecting new leads
• Presentation of recommendations and cover to the client
• Securing cross selling business and referrals
• Monitoring sales performance in line with targets
• Ensuring all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation and company procedures

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in an Account Executive role within a broker environment
• New Business sales experience
• Working knowledge of all Commercial Insurance products
• Experience of working to high standards of FCA compliance
• Proficient on systems
• Well organised with a high level of accuracy
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Cert CII qualifications desirable
