Duties:
CUSTOMER SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR – CHORLEY - C£24K – PERMANENT – FULL TIME
We are looking for a proactive and highly organised individual to join our clients team as a Customer Service Administrator.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, is a strong team player, and has a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive environment. As part of a close-knit team, you will receive full training and the support you need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a high volume of phone calls across various parts of the business
- Processing orders efficiently and accurately
- Managing four busy email inboxes
- Raising quotations and following up on them
- Responding to stock inquiries
- Coordinating and arranging deliveries
- Providing product or service information to customers via phone and email
- Keeping customers informed about the status of their orders
- Working with an in-house system and maintaining databases
- Sourcing new leads
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience in customer service or sales order processing
- Be able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Be well-organised with great attention to detail
Desirable Experience:
- Proven experience in a Sales Administrator or similar administrative role
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team
