Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Kirkham
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday (Mornings / Afternoons only)
Salary: £45,000 Basic + Bonus

The Opportunity
Due to continued plant expansion and a sustained increase in customer demand, we're looking for a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to play a key role in keeping our site operating at peak performance.

The Role
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all electrical systems across the site. You'll take a proactive approach to maintenance, fault-finding, and improvement projects, helping to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical maintenance on plant, machinery, and site utilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical faults efficiently

Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities to a high standard

Respond promptly and effectively to reactive breakdowns

Accurately log and manage maintenance activities using CMMS (SAP)

Support production teams during breakdowns and technical issues

Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in line with 5S principles

Actively contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Stay up to date with plant processes, controls, and technical developments

Provide technical guidance and support to shift supervision and engineering colleagues
What We're Looking For

Apprentice trained or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering

Proven experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

PLC fault-finding experience is highly desirable

A proactive mindset with a focus on reliability and improvement

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment
