Finance Manager

Up to £50,000 plus Bonus

Permanent Position

Due to internal progression, my client who  are a well established business in Winsford are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a team of 3 and will ensure the smooth running of the core accounting activities on a day-to-day basis.

Key Duties:

• Responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team
• Overall accountability for the sales ledger, purchase ledger, payroll, balance sheet and treasury
• Conducting month-end procedures, preparing monthly management accounts, supporting MI
• Responsibility for year end processes, annual audit management, VAT returns and monthly PAYE
• Preparation of the in-house monthly payroll
• Process analysis, improvement, and implementation
• Produce various reports
• Support the senior leadership team on projects

Skills Required:

• Must have previous experience working as a Finance Manager/ Financial Controller/Management Accountant/ Accountant role or similar
• This position is open to candidates who are qualified by experience or CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualifications
• Previous experience managing a finance team
• experience with producing Management Accounts
• Proficient on systems including MS Excel
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Process driven with an ability to implement improvements
• Strong team player
• Organised and self motivated approach
