What will an ideal Graduate History Academic Mentor look like?
- To become a Graduate History Academic Mentor – 1st or 2:1 in History related degree
- A passion for History and genuine desire to learn relevant pedagogy
- Relevant experience is desired but not essential when paired with relevant academics
What does this Graduate History Academic Mentor entail?
Graduate History Academic Mentor – Full-time, long-term role – Earn up to £580 per week
As a Graduate History Academic Mentor, you will provide expert tailored support to GCSE and A-Level students who aim to achieve outstanding grades in their crucial examinations.
Once you have been provided with the relevant training and subsequently observed great practice, you will embark on leading 1-1 and group sessions with students to solidify attainment and understanding.
Holding the school’s rigorous academic ethos, as a Graduate History Academic Mentor you will ensure students have clear understanding in this challenging and intense subject.
As you progress through the academic year your success as a Graduate History Academic Mentor will be monitored. For the exceptional candidate, the opportunity to progress onto paid teacher training from September 2025 will be available.
