This local secondary school is looking for a gifted Maths Graduate to join their team in September 2024 and support their students as a Graduate Maths Academic Mentor.

Job Description - Graduate Maths Academic Mentor

  • As Graduate Maths Academic Mentor – Earn £465-£520 per week
  • Support Maths across KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ graded Secondary School
  • Bespoke development scheme to build your knowledge in the educational setting
  • Full-time, long-term position
  • Monday to Friday 8:30am 3:30pm
  • Start in the new academic year - September 2024
  • Wandsworth, South London - Accessible transport routes

Are you keen to share your expertise with avid learners as you build your experience-base and solidify your knowledge?

As a Graduate Maths Academic Mentor, you will support students in their studies and crucial exam preparation using your extensive knowledge in the subject.

This will be on a 1-1 and group basis, and with training from the school, you will lead sessions and use engaging resources to establish understanding. In your role as a Graduate Maths Academic Mentor, you will work with both high and low ability students to ensure that they are meeting their personal targets.

As the school pushes for an increase in future Russell-group alumni, you will play a vital role in ensuring students reach the goals that will ensure they have a prosperous future ahead of them.

A number of previous Graduate Maths Academic Mentor s have gone on to develop into fully qualified teachers, whether that be thorough paid teacher training or PGCEs.
