Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time, long-term role starting January 2025
  • Monday–Friday, 32.5 hours per week, term-time only
  • Earn up to £560 per week as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
  • School located centrally – easily accessible from most of Leeds and surrounding areas
  • Graduates holding a 2:1 degree or above encouraged to apply
  • Degrees in Education, Psychology, or core subjects are especially valued
  • Provide essential 1-1 and small group support to pupils struggling for a variety of reasons
  • Work alongside skilled education professionals and develop your expertise
  • Ideal stepping stone for aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and more

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll work in close collaboration with teachers, SENCOs, and fellow TAs to deliver strategies that support children facing barriers to learning. Alongside general classroom duties, you’ll provide focused support both 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils to progress academically and socially, and giving them the tools to succeed.
