KPI Education is working in partnership with welcoming and supportive primary schools in Brent to recruit Graduate Primary Teaching Assistants for the upcoming academic year.

This role is ideal for graduates who want to gain meaningful classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training.

The Role

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant in Brent, you will:

• Support class teachers across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, depending on your strengths and interests.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils to enhance learning and confidence.
• Assist with lesson preparation, classroom activities, and learning resources.
• Help promote positive behaviour and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with additional learning needs where required.
• Gain first-hand experience of the primary curriculum and classroom practice.

This role offers excellent exposure to day-to-day school life and is a strong stepping stone into initial teacher training.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking graduates who:

• Hold a degree 2:1 above (any subject considered; Education, Psychology, English, or Humanities are desirable).
• Are passionate about working with young children and supporting their development.
• Have strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
• Are patient, enthusiastic, and proactive in a classroom setting.
• Aspire to train as a primary school teacher in the future.
