We are working with a number of inclusive and high-performing primary schools across Tower Hamlets who are currently seeking Graduate Primary Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term positions.
The Role – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to help pupils progress across the curriculum.
You will play a key role in supporting pupils’ academic development, building confidence, and creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to succeed.
This role is ideal for aspiring Primary Teachers, Educational Psychologists, or Child Psychologists looking to gain meaningful school-based experience before progressing onto a PGCE or further professional training.

Ideal Candidate – Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant
- A degree in any subject (Education, Psychology, Early Years, or Social Sciences are advantageous but not essential)
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
- Strong communication skills with a patient and empathetic approach
- Professional, proactive, and committed
- Must have the right to work in the UK
