Duties:

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant             

Are you a compassionate Psychology (or related subject) graduate holding a 2:1 or higher from a Top 30 university?

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Education Needs (SEN), offering them strategies to develop their social, emotional and academic skills?

Perhaps you have some pre-existing experience working in care, SEN or similar roles, and are now looking for your next challenge?

A vibrant and forward-thinking SEN school close to the Parson Cross area of Sheffield is seeking various candidates to deploy in the capacity of a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant. This well-regarded institution has been on a journey of development and change over the past 18 months, and is seeking to grow its support team ahead of the September intake of new students. Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role:

This all-through SEN school serves a cohort of roughly 100 students with complex and varied special education needs. Many students deal with ASD, ADHD, ODD and various other needs. As a result, candidates are required to bring high levels of natural emotional intelligence, empathy and compassion to the role.
