The ideal candidate for this Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role:

  • 2:1 or higher in Psychology or a relevant field such as Education, Health & Social Care etc
  • Genuine desire to support learners with SEN needs
  • Experience working with SEN desirable but not essential
  • Resilience and the ability to approach each child with unconditional positive regard

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 11–16 with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You’ll work closely with experienced SEN staff, delivering tailored interventions, supporting with communication, and helping pupils regulate behaviour and engage in learning.
