Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant

Have you recently completed a STEM degree and want to spark curiosity in the next generation of scientists, technologists, engineers, and mathematicians?

KPI Education are delighted to be working with a high-achieving secondary school on the Wirral, near Wallasey, to recruit a motivated Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant ready to join their team from January 2026

Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant

  • Full-time, long-term role starting January 2026
  • Monday to Friday – 32.5 hours per week, term-time only
  • Earn up to £560 per week as a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant
  • Secondary school on the Wirral with a strong STEM ethos
  • Graduates with a 2:1 or above in Maths, Science, Engineering, or Computing encouraged to apply
  • Support pupils across KS3 & KS4 in a range of STEM subjects
  • Deliver 1-to-1 and small group interventions to boost progress and deepen understanding
  • Learn from experienced teachers within vibrant STEM departments
  • Excellent stepping stone for Teacher Training applications in 2026
  • Interviews taking place in November/December

About the Role

As a Graduate STEM Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers in Maths, Science, and Computing to provide engaging learning support and targeted intervention. You’ll help to simplify complex concepts, nurture students’ confidence, and build essential problem-solving skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
