 We are looking for an experienced health and safety officer to join a fantastic and dedicated team working for a leading manufacturing company who are dedicated to producing high-quality products while maintaining the highest standards of safety and health. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices
• Ensure the site is compliant with all relevant health and safety legislation.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Requirements:

• Experience as a Health and Safety Officer, preferably in a manufacturing/food manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
