An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and forward-thinking Marketing and Communications Manager to join a well established organisation based in Cheshire. You will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing communications strategy for the organisation and using research and data you will create targeted, creative campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of and enjoy all aspects of marketing, including content, digital, brand, advertising, media relations and customer relationship management.

Key Duties:

  • With the Head of Marketing and Communications, develop and implement marketing communications strategies and manage the delivery to meet organisational strategic objectives 
  • Continually develop the marketing communications strategy
  • Manage, motivate and develop the Marketing Communications Team
  • Work closely with colleagues across the wider marketing department to ensure a joined-up approach to all marketing and recruitment activity
  • Lead on the creation and implementation of an annual marketing and communications plan
  • Provide ongoing marketing support to departments to help achieve recruitment and income targets
  • Lead on the creation and implementation of integrated creative campaigns 
  • Regularly measure and report on the ROI of marketing activity
  • Develop new and innovative ways of marketing, ensuring that the marketing is responsive and appropriate to the changing landscape
  • Lead in the development and implementation of the digital marketing strategy
  • Work with the Brand and Design Lead on the production of promotional materials ensuring brand consistency and ensuring editorial accuracy across print material 
  • Manage advertising activity across the organisation
  • Oversee all press and media relations
  • Develop internal communications utilising all available channels

Skills Required:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (Marketing preferred)
  • Professional CIM qualification 
  • Previous managerial experience 
  • Experience of creating and implementing marketing strategies and operational plans to support specific business objectives and targets 
  • Excellent team player
  • Great organisational skills 
  • Self motivated with the ability to organise own workload and work on own initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively 
  • The capacity to work under pressure managing multiple projects to tight deadlines whilst delivering them on budget
  • Strong analytical skills and numerical skills
