Have you achieved a minimum of a 2:1 degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject from a leading university, demonstrating not only strong subject knowledge but also a commitment to academic excellence and high personal standards?

Do you currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or are you in the process of completing your PGCE and have a passion for delivering outstanding Maths education to secondary school students?

Have you gained hands-on experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting, where you've had the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, manage a classroom environment effectively, and support students of varying abilities in achieving their full potential?

Maths Teacher - Candidate Specification

We are looking for a Maths Teacher who is:

Essential:

-          Holds a 2:1 degree or above in Mathematics or a closely related field from a top university

-          Has achieved or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

-          Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4

-          Brings excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills

-          Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a clear understanding of how to engage and stretch students of all abilities

Maths Teacher – Job Role

As a Maths teacher your day-to-day responsibilities will include

-          Creating engaging, differentiated lesson plans aligned with the curriculum and tailored to meet the needs of all learners

-          Teaching Mathematics using innovative and inclusive strategies to inspire curiosity and promote deep understanding

-          As a Maths Teacher you will be assessing student work regularly and providing high-quality feedback that supports learning, drives improvement, and prepares students for success

-          Offering extra support sessions, revision classes, and contributing to maths-based enrichment activities or clubs
